Context
Kazoo is a quarterly print magazine based in Brooklyn for girls aged 5–12, focused on celebrating creativity, curiosity, confidence, and authenticity. Each issue centers around a unique theme, such as Fun, Brave, Ocean, or Future, creating opportunities for imaginative storytelling and playful visual exploration.

Solution
Working across multiple issues of the magazine, our team developed editorial layouts, illustrations, and art direction that brought each theme to life in a way that felt energetic, empowering, and visually engaging for young readers.

The work balanced creativity and clarity while supporting Kazoo’s broader mission of encouraging girls to feel bold, capable, and unapologetically themselves.

My Role
I contributed design, illustration, and art direction across multiple issues of the magazine, collaborating closely with the editorial and creative team to develop playful, theme-driven visual storytelling.
