Context
BudAI is an AI learning app for children designed to encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and confidence as kids learn alongside AI. The team needed a visual identity that could feel intelligent and future-facing while still remaining approachable, optimistic, and engaging for younger audiences.

Solution
We began the project with a brand strategy phase, aligning on BudAI’s positioning, personality, audience, and core themes around learning, growth, and independence. From there, we explored several visual directions ranging from playful and expressive to more grounded and assured in tone.

The final identity centers around a labyrinth-inspired logo representing the non-linear nature of learning, with a flower at its center symbolizing growth and potential. The accompanying color palette and favicon system were designed to feel clear, memorable, and adaptable across digital touchpoints.

My Role
I led the development of BudAI’s visual identity, including brand strategy exploration, creative direction, logo design, color palette development, and favicon design.
